Fuel tank is leaking on top of fuel tank module. Metal fuel lines from module are

rusted into. Will vulcan draw straw I correct this problem without purchasing new fuel tank module ? $470. 00 from dealer.

1999 model.

I was a little unclear about the 'rusted into' part. But Vulcan sells a completely reworked module ( I think about 275) and you can get 3/8 or 1/2" outlets per your need. A drawstraw would be less, but it would be good to know your return line is not 'rusted off'' before you go that route. Look closer at where the fuel is leaking from to prevent buying more than you need.

I took out the fuel canister (well the guts, the physical canister is still there). I run a Drawstraw and return fuel to the filler pipe so you get better mixing of the hot return fuel with the entire tank.

I also put in a racing boat fuel guage, mated it to the canbus, BUT I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN THE RACING BOAT GAUGE TO TOTALLY SEAL, IT WEEPS A LITTLE AT MAXIMUM FULL)

If you want what I did and the retrospect of about 5 years, I would be happy to find the old thread and explain what I would do differently.
