2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fuel Tank Module NUT

Anyone replaced the fuel tank module nut on a '95? I picked one up from Dodge and it didn't fit (a new part # 52005389). New cap was white rather than black and was about 1/8" undersized across the threads and top. No way it would fit, so I took it back. Parts guy at Dodge said he would look into it. Put the old cap back on along with a new seal and so far the small leak has stopped.

All I replaced was the gasket when I replaced my module. I did not tighten mine real tight and it had a small leak and I would tighted a little more after about the 3rd time it stopped leaking thats been 5 or 6 years ago. I did this through the fender well.
