My fuel gauge went crazy a few months ago. No big deal, Ive been w/o it before. Then it started to suck air when it had 10 gallons in the tank. It sputtered to a stop friday. Pulled the tank, and all of the stuff that mounts to the lid on the tank was broke off and dangling in the tank. It had cut a hole in the pickup tube. I am all for fixing it right if I can.

I am thinking about reattaching the module to the lid, and putting a compression fitting on the lines comming out of the tank and going to stainless braided. And run that all the way to the lift pump.

Is there a better way to pull fuel from the tank?

Ive got duct tape and JB weld, I can make any idea work.

I saw a set up by a member here that make a new top for the module and pumbed it with pipe fittings. I don't think he's installed it yet though.
