I pulled the tank to see what it looked like inside, and to check the fuel pickup tube. Everything looks fine. My question is regarding updating the main line to the LP. As I have read some of the post on adding an electric, or a better LP, guys have mentioned getting better flow from the tank. What is a guy to do? It looks like I am stuck with OEM set up at the top of the tank. But beyond the tank, would it help to add a rubber line from the tank to the LP? What have you guys come up with?

Thanks,

If you want to spend the money a sending unit/fuel pickup from the 2nd gen trucks is supposed to work and it will have larger lines. Don't know the price but if its anything like the chevys expect to spend $200 to $300 unless you get it used.

would it help to add a rubber line from the tank to the LP?
Way back when I had my truck at a dealer to repair a fuel leak back near the tank. They said the metal line is no longer available and just used rubber fuel line run from the tank to the LP. Haven't had any air in system/starting problems or fuel leaks for almost three years. So I would say a rubber fuel would be ok. At the LP, a 45* fitting in the supply side then the rubber hose slips onto it, held on with a clamp. Thats how mine is setup.

Thanks guys. I don't think that I am coming close to its max flow with my few mods. The plastic line seems to be in good shape thus far. But, while I had it out, I was just wondering.
