According to my manual my truck has a 35 gallon fuel tank. My truck has the optional overhead computer that tells the miles to empty, mpg, etc. Everytime my milage gets close to zero and the needle gets right on Empty I refill. However, I have yet to get more than 31. 0 gallons of diesel into my truck. Has anyone had that much of a difference? Almost makes me think the fuel MPG calculator is way off too.

First thing is never go by the overhead display to know when to fuel up or to know the MPG, it is for REFERENCE ONLY. Hand calculate MPG for a accurate reading and YES the fuel tank is 35 gallons and mine dings at about 27 gallons to fill it up. Its called a RESERVE, and beats running out when it says your out :-laf :-laf :-laf
