Fuel Tank Size?

Can anyone tell me what the fuel tank size is on the 2500 short bed truck? I've read 26 gal. in one place and 34 gal. in another. I've got a new truck on order and wonder what I'm getting.

Can't say exactly about the 2500 but mine is a 3500 srw short bed and I have the 34 gallon tank. I believe that it is standard. I have never heard about a 26 gal tank, but then again there's a lot that I haven't heard about. Hope you get the big one.

My book says 128 litres / 28 imperial gallons (SHORT BOX)

132 litres / 29 imperial gallons (LONG BOX)

Whatever that converts to

Short bed is 34 gallons.

Wanderson is right the HD's with a short bed are 34 gallons while a long bed is 35 gallons.



The 26 gallons is for a 1500 short bed.

Don the 26 gallon tank is the maximum size on a General Motors quad cab truck. I was driving a GMC 02 4-dr before I bought my CTD 26 gallons sucks the big one. 34 gallons is the correct capacity for the 2500 shorty.
