Has anyone installed a Transfer Flow Tool Box Fuel Tank. If so how hard was the job and are there any tricks? I have a W250 Long bed. Take care. Jay from NJ Please e mail me if you don't mine me asking questions.

Blue Jay, I installed mine in my 91 D350 about 3 or 4 years ago and even with the excellent instructions that come with the tank it is a *****. Especially if you don't have any help. If I had it to do over again I would make an appointment with the dealer and have them install it. It took me two full days to complete the job.

Then about 6 months later I had to remove the tank to have the bed Rino Lined. I have read that it takes their installers about 3-4 hours to do it in their shop. LOTS OF WORK. You may welcome the challenge.

Walt.

Thank you Walt. I checked with a dealer the close's one to me about 40 miles away. He said that he will charge $400. 00 to install and will only install the tank if I buy the tank from him. I think that is a high price to have it installed. I talk to a friend that is a Diesel Mec. He said that he would install the tank. Again thank you for getting back to me I'm going to have the friend install the tank. Take care.
