2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fuel Tank Vent Kit Source?

I read in an old TDR mag that a member? was selling a vent relocating kit for the tank. When I tried, the site was gone. Anyone have a source for these complete kits ?

That link says it is for 2003 to present trucks. Does anyone know of one for the 2000?

The tank venting issue was for the third-gen trucks (03 up) and allowed I believe an extra 4 or 5 gallons of fuel. The OEM vent is located low on the stock tank, leaving a large airspace at the top. By moving it to the top it allows you to more completely fill the tank to capacity. I don't recall this being an issue on second-gen trucks.

I kind of copied this concept on my 95, they have two humps for expansion, but found I could increase the amount of fuel from the standard 35 to 42 gallons, don't ask, it just does. While I was in there I also coated the float with Epoxy and lined up the float so it did not rub on the tank side walls. And knock on wood## its still working.
