Fuel Tank Vent

I am wondering about how long does it take to install that vent? From start to finish. From what i have read it is not that hard to do just seems like it might take a while to do.

Took me about 1. 5 hrs. That's being interrupted, kids, tv, phone, beverage, etc. It takes some longer, from what I've read.

I had the tank out and back in in under 2 hours. Not difficult but a buddy makes it easier to get the tank back up into position.

Took me about four hours... . I'm slow and read the instructions line for line. Knowing what I know now..... I could do it again pretty easily in around a couple of hours.

Figuring out how to disconnect the fuel lines took about 45 minutes. I wound up putting zip ties around the tabs that held the lines on and that worked like a charm. I'd highly recommend using that little trick to get the lines off.

I filled up today for the first time since doing the mod and man am I glad I did it. After the nozzle clicked off I was able to squeeze in another . 4 of a gallon and I had diesel all the way to the top of the filler neck Oo.

I can squeeze 35 gallons in there now if teh overhead sasy teh DTE is 0.
