I have a 1999 2500 shortbed and I really need a larger fuel capacity and I need a tank that is mounted under, not in the bed. I use the bed to much. I would need either a aux. tank or a larger replacement. I have contacted Titan and Aerotanks and neither one offers a tank for my truck. Does anyone know of anyone or have ideas.

Thanks,

Chris

Look at tanks from full size Dodge vans. I know ones from the early 80's used to hold 36 gallons. I'd bet you'd be able to mount one where the spare currently hangs. Of course, you'd need to find another spot for the spare - hmmm maybe the bed?? :-laf

thanks for the info. I will do what I can to get more gallons. I'm checking locally for help so far I'm shocked that there is no one that makes these. I always figured that this would be a no brainer.

you can always just have someone make you a new tank to go in the same spot. i know my buddy makes fuel cells and only charges like 450 bucks for an all aluminum one. and your in cali so i'm sure it would be the same price if not cheaper around you.
