Hey guys,

I am thinking of adding a larger fuel tank to my truck. I would like to gain an additional 10 gallons or so, and keep the spare tire in its original location. I have a 2001 QC Shortbed 2WD. Has anyone used the Aero Tanks replacement tanks? If so, was installation easy?

Thanks!

EVan--I have a Aero on my Scrambler, would've been easier to install if I did'nt have a wierd rear bumper that had to be modified to get it in. In TDR issue 27 or 28, there is an article on a 60 gal replacement tank by Aero, the entire install was covered. Don't know if a 60 will fit under a SWB, but I'm sure they will have something that will. When I get to a point where wife and I are traveling more, I'm for sure gonna replace the stock tank with the Aero 60 gal. Ron
