I Have A Very Strong Fuel Smell Outside The Truck. . It Is Not Very Strong Inside The Cab. The Longer I Drive And Stop The Stronger It Is. . If I Start It Up In The Morning And Drive A Few Miles It Hard To Smell. . Drive 50 Miles And Very Strong. . I Looked At The Lines And Inj. And Do Not See Any Fuel Leaks. . Any Ideas ???????

Might be a tiny pinhole leak somewhere in the fuel rail fuel lines or fittings. You probably wouldn't see the leak because under that high a pressure, the fuel would vaporize once it got out of the system. That'd be my guess.

No a dirty filter is still contained in the housing. But, check around the filter housing for an area that looks 'wet'. Also follow the fuel lines and look for 'wet' areas. If you drive on dirt roads alot the wet areas will be covered in dust moreso than the remainder of the truck.

Does the 2005 have the same type of filter as the 2002? If it does than check to make sure the valve on the filter housing is closed all the way. Just some random thoughts.
