fueling box has arrived

Talked to the gentlemen that installs my mods. He said he's got a box from BD for me. I believe it is a EZ. . He said it should be around 60 to 70 horsepower to the ground. I'm first going to put a fuel pressure gauge in and a secondary fuel pump. I'm not going to take chances on low fuel pressure. Besides the more fuel I return to the fuel tank I believe that should be helpful in the winter months.



Can't wait to get more power. My 2001 with an ez makes this truck feel sick pulling 16,000# fifth wheel.

It doesn't sound like fuel pressure will be an issue - maybe the safest approach is take the lift pump off ..... ???

Will Power?

My EZ and A-Pillar & gauges were all waiting in the same package on my front porch when I got home after dark on the Friday before Christmas. "Wait until I get the gauges installed," I planned. Yeah, right. Fifteen minutes later I was out in the driveway plugging in the EZ, followed immediately by lots of 1/4 mile runs on local roads with the G-Tech (didn't work so good) and SOP meter:

Do not take the lift pump off, as mentioned in an above post.

There is a reason for it being there, if the lift pump is not working properly the engine will not run properly and throw codes.

I love my turnoverball hitch. It is a quality piece of work. I have towed 26,000 lbs+ and no problems.

Just made a trip from Phoenix to LA and back to drop off my old truck at the harbor, and the new one pulled it very nice. The B&W hitch worked great. I have a 30ft tandem dual flatbed gooseneck that I hauled it on.

Okay Greg, no more power slides in the Home Depot parking lot. Just a matter of time, and the 03 will be where the 2000 was.
