I understand from DD that they are having difficulties developing a fueling box for the '03's. He said they are searching for a "work around" some problems.

My $. 02 is Cummins has reacted to the abundance of boxes for 24 valve models and made it tougher to modify.

I have no doubt DD will figure out a solution. The question is how instrusive and obvious the will system be. It's not going to work for most of us if it is difficult to install and sets off all kinds of error codes. We want to think we could get a warranty repair if we happen to blow it up.

It took a while to work out how to 'box' the first ISBs; and well over a year before there was more then one or two vendors with boxes. So I'm not too concerned; it'll take a little while to get it all worked out but they'll get it.

Big Mak,

I was unable to access the web site link in your signiture. Site not responding. Just thought you would want to know.

Edge makes the boxes for DD. They are working on an 80 HP box as we speak. Might be even more HP. DD doesen't want us to know that. They sure do make one hell of an injector though. You can but them for up to 100 HP as we speak. That is for the 03's

Think I want to get 5K or so on the engine B/4 I bomb. Make sure it is running right and well broken in.

I know some on forum say engines don't break in for 20K, but for my purposes they are. It may be that the engine continues to "loosen" up a bit as time goes along improving fuel economy. But all the critical ring seating is done well B/4 that.
