Fueling up a few years ago

I fueled my truck this morning and it cost $142. 13. The pump actually stopped at 141 and some change. I tried to stop at the next rounded up #... . 142!!We have all done it and I just barely clicked the nozzle and Bamm... . jumped over 142 and stopped at $142. 13. I remember not to long ago that if the pump stopped at . 50 or so ,we had to fight the nozzle clicking on and off for several attempts to make it to the next highest rounded number. Boy! has that ever changed? What's funny is I probably could have rounded to the next ten and gone to $150. 00. This sucks man!!

What really sucks is I have to "fill up" this afternoon for the next week of camping. Fortunately, my WVO supplier just called with another 8 gallons - that'll save $35. 00.



Now I only have to come up with the other $105. 00. Gonna have to start selling my body parts next.
