They don't make 'em like this anymore

Hey guys. I went to a stop by mmy work where all the companies fill up there trucks... Well i went in there and it was a fuel stop where there is no workers on duty and you pay with a credit card. Well i busted my visa out and entered it in and out and then it said fuelman card accepted only... The diesel fuel was a "better fuel" said it wouldnt gel untill -45 and was 45 octane? it was #2...

Well the question is where do i get one of these fuelman cards... I tryed online but it was for fleet only. . I dont have a fleet i am just an individual that wants to fill up at this place. I dont trust citgo,bp and all the others everyone else goes to my fuel filter was BLACK and the truck was sluggish at 6500 miles... .

Not sure if mine is a fuelman card or not. It has holes in it that the mechine reads. The local oil guy has a pacific pride station so one day I called him up. No problem, filled out a credit application and in a couple days I had my card. The fuel is much better then "gas station" fuel!

Pacific Pride, at least around home, is for mostly commercial applications and farmers. You have to either have a farm, work for a farmer, have a fleet of vehicles, etc to get a card, and then you're not supposed to fill up stuff there that isn't on the farm, as most of it is written off at the end of the year as an expense. Everyone still fills up their toys there though, like snowmobiles and boats. It used to be cheaper then the regular gas stations, but anymore it isn't, so we don't use it as much. It is however the easiest way to get 92 octane for sleds, so I fill there when going snowmobiling.

So, maybe incorporate yourself (I know many a person who is) and get the card and a little discount... oooooooooh, and you could write off $100,000 in new stuff the first year... your pickup is now tax free! :)

Ah, the world of farming tax-evasion... isn't it fun?

If you apply to pacific pride direct, yes they only want high volume users. I think they wanted 200 gallon plus per month. But pacific pride is really a clearing house, where these little dealers all selling fuel using the pacific pride name. No matter where I buy fuel, my bill comes from my local dealer. The dealers of pacific pride pay each other through pacific pride network so it all comes out in the end. I just called my local dealer and got the card without any problems. At times I bet I only use $30. 00 per month.

Something to watch, my local price is around $1. 59. If I pull into a truck stop that shows $1. 19, when my local dealer bills me he charges me $1. 59.

I think Pacific Pride has requirements of additives that have to be added to the fuel, All the pumps are marked they have additives for up to 5% better mileage and cold running. I have seen my local dealer dumping 5 gallon cans of additives into his tanks.
