Ken.......save an old milk jug. Cut out enough of the top of the milk jug (leaving the handle of the jug intact) so as the frame mounted separator will drop into it. Using your 5/16" tubing, drain off some of the fuel. Disconnect the WIF sensor. Using either a band style filter wrench or pliers, loosen the separator where it can then be turned by hand. Spin off and allow to fall into the jug. VOILLLLLLLLA.......no mess!!!I have not perfected the rear. I still have spillage that keeps me looking for a better way.

Find a clear hose that fits the rear filter 5/16" ID and it will slide inside the factory engine filter 7/16". I one hose severs both. I yellow crimp #12-10 butt connector sides inside the 5/16" ID to make it into a loop for storage.
Did it for Cummins12V98 also.

If you want to be KOOL like SNOKING and I are you will want one of these, AMAZON $11.81 free shipping. Lisle 34900 OEM Water Sensor Wrench
Ya know I have ordered and promoted Geno's for years but when it is about $130 for two filters there or $83 on AMAZON I can't justify Geno's at that price difference.

Heck, I don't remember. This is really a non-issue for me, I didn't think it was worth dissecting further.
That's a good price for sure but what does it cost to ship it. AMAZON's price is now 10.92 shipped.
I have bought literally thousands of dollars from Geno's over the years and will continue to do so if the prices are at least CLOSE to their competition. Geno's are you listening???????
:-lafI'm already cool as I ordered one after Greg showed it in his post! LOL
It may be a non issue to you, but I for one don't enjoy overpaying for an item, this blind loyalty may work for some, it does not work for me. You continue on your non issue, buts it my pocket book ,and I will shop for the best prices. Geno's is not the best price for anything that I have shopped for that they carry.
Oh my goodness....I can't belief this is even worth discussing. Firstly, we are talking like $5-6 if that! While I don't recall what the shipping charges were, I'm sure the price was similar to Amazon's or even slightly less.....but again...a couple bucks.
Secondly, I only made the Geno's comment in jest. I can't believe two of you thought is was worth challenging!
Also, I don't have blind loyalty, I buy my fuel filters from Amazon too. Time to go outside and play.
