Full Boar Muffler

Has anyone ever heard of Mountain Muffler's Full Boar performance muffler? The owner of a local muffler shop told me Mountain Muffler Co. , in Mountain Home Arkansas, is building a muffler line which is basically identical to the Flowmaster mufflers. In fact, he told me the original design was sold to Flowmaster several years ago, by the owner of Mountain Muffler. The quality and type of construction is identical to the Flowmaster I have under my '67 Camaro. Anyway, I purchased one of these for only $67. 00 installed. I know this sounds hard to believe, but the truck seems to have a little better performance than when I had it straight piped.

My local muffler shop sells these, and they do seem to be identical to flowmaster, at about half price. I've had one installed on my landcruiser now for several years, and like it fine...

I don't know if you can purchase them directly from the factory, but the muffler shop I purchased mine from sold me one for only 68 bucks - installed. The part number is F526A, the phone number to the shop (Spa Muffler) is (501) 624-3687.

Tell me about it!
Last September, I was quoted $400. 00 from a muffler shop in Downey, CA for a Flowmaster muffler and a 3 1/2" tailpipe. I ended up purchasing an 80" section of 3" pipe from the same shop for $28. 00. I had to crawl under my truck with a hacksaw and cut the muffler off and do the install myself because the shop would have no part of an illeagal installation (straight pipe). I'm sure glad Boeing layed me off, it gave me an excuse to get out of that toilet known as Southern California!
