Fumoto valve installed, fuel filter changed etc...

My fumoto finger touch valve came in along with some other goodies. Gotto love Genos!



After putting the oil plug in, I put a level from the front axle to the oil pan and the oil valve does sit higher than front axle. I also installed it so the valve is facing the rear so it doesn't easily get caught on anything. My truck is a 2500 with stock tires and no leveling kit.



I changed my fuel filter for the first time also. I change my fuel filter every 10k miles. I have for 4 trucks now and have never had an injector go out. knock on wood... lol



I love the fuel filter design of the 2010. Just as easy if not easier than the good old 5. 9s.

Does the 2010 have only one fuel filter, or are there a second one someplace?, just asking, I thought Dodge was doing something new in that area.

When I had the 04. 5 truck I changed the fuel filter at every oil change (5K). I was worried about the high number of failing fuel pumps at the time. With this truck I'm gonna do like your doing. At every other oil change I'm going to replace the fuel filter. The 2010 changed the fuel filter housing back to like it was for the 5. 9L. Geno's filter was 24. 00 The dealer wanted 39. 00 for the same mopar filter... Imagine that.
