Wow, I really expected a better response from this thread. It takes a lot of work to get an 8,000 pound truck into the 12's. It takes twice as much to get a Ferd into the 12's! ;) Just funnin with ya Dock. You already got my congrats last night. Cya !

I ran thursday night 1/8 mile 1. 71 60ft 5. 18 330ft 8. 10 at 84. 50mph also traction problems what do think it would 1/4 mph?? Hit it with a small shot of NOS . 067 jet went 7. 93 at 87. 00mph 60ft 1. 747 tire spin

Nice run Greg! Your truck is amazing, is it still 8000lbs race weight?

Thanks Johnny and Lloyd :D

Yeah John, race weight last night was 7978 lbs with the tailgate on and up and the "elephant ear" mirrors in the normal posistion :)

Nice. lmills is right; running 12's is smokin'! I've been trying to compare your numbers (weight, hp, 60', ET) with mine. Dropping a couple tenths off that 60' (if it doesn't weigh too much) should take quite a bit off your ET, as will shallow staging if you're not already doing it. Still, yours weighs 1500 lbs more than mine, and with drugs you're about 20hp over me.

Now I have a headache... :)

OPoole, that's a good 60' for a heavy 4x4; not far off my best. Can't tell you about your 1/4 ET though, sorry. As we've seen, math is not my strong suite...

Thanks Rhonda ;)

Hey, Kevins run was not bad either!!!! :D Oo.

Anyway, I'm looking into lockers right now. Got to get the power to the ground at the start without just lighting them up!! :( If I can, I believe I can knock a few tenths of that

Greg, I had a great time, and the video turned out real well. It looked like I had you in the begining, only to have my doors blown off in the end. :D You know it did not even sink in that I lost to a ford until the ride home!!! :-laf LOL! Maybe next wednesday we can meet up there again. -Kevin

Kevin,

That's funny!! LOL!! :-laf Bring the Black truck next time and I have a feeling it will be the other way around!! :{ :D

Next Wed. sounds like a good plan!! I'm in the process of trying to decide what lockers to put in the truck to try and help with my 60' spinning starts  :{ Maybe I can have at least the rear in by then ;)

We will keep in touch!

Greg :D
