This is my first drag racing experience, although not as impressive as some on this site I am still very happy with my runs. Let me add being my first time I was very nervous! I over shot the staging lights, the spotters directed me to back up (you probably can guess what happened next) I still had it in reverse but my next three runs were redeming The first was 8. 68 1/8th 4x4 run down full track, the second was 8. 58 1/8 with 4x4 off by half track,the third,my best was 8. 55 81 mph 1/8 with 4x4 off by second gear. Might I add there was a newer Vete that only ran 8. 44 1/8 at 86! Man that makes me happy!Oo. Thanks for listening to me brag for having the fastest diesel truck in my area. Ummm yes as funny as it may seem I did! I did not really lauch under power cause when I removed my foot off of the brake I noticed something was not right but funny never the less! I have not done anything stupid in sometime I guess it just caught up with me on this day!

those are some sweet times,were are you running at i thought most of the tracks in nc were closed for season. i had a 2001 that was runnin low 8sec 8ths on raw diesel and made some 7sec passes on nos. i sold my dodge recently and have started playing with my new 2003 dmax. i know iknow its not a cummins but my payment got cut by over 1600 bucks a year(gotta love 1. 9 for 60 months). and money is money. but one day ill be back in a dodge . until then im gonna see what i can get out of the dmax. once again sweet times
