You are right that is very amusing to say the least. it is even funnier how the mechanic describes the CUMMINS. :--) :-laf :-laf

"1. The 6. 0 motor is a maintenance nightmare. He says 70 percent of them have major problems. All though when pressed further he did say the 05-06 years have been much better. Maybe only 30 to 40 percent of them. "

So 30-40% with major problems is a good thing?

hmmm my farm irrigation motor does just fine up to and past 120mph! :-laf

When I read some of those threads by newer members I can't help but think they're doing their best to convince themselves that they made a great decision to buy a 6. 0.

Wow. Those guys get bent out of shape when a Dodge owner post something, even when they agree. I like how the one guy says that the "CumminGs" ain't as good as a PSD. He must have a wealth of knowledge on the subject! :-laf If you are going to take a stab at someone, at least make sure you know the proper name of what you are attempting to put down. . ;)

"The Cummins motor in the Dodge is a pivot irrigation motor (for farming irrigation) and is fine for running around town grocery shopping but forget it on the highway as it doesn't do well at higher speeds. "

I'd like to watch this guy go up a 6-8% grade with 17K behind him!
