HoleshotHolset caught drinking and driving...

Happy B-Day Buffalo..

A fella in a little import truck made the mistake of merging into the front of my truck. The road splits from 1 lane into 3 lanes. As soon as the white lines were defining the 3 lanes I started to pass on the left in the middle lane. About that time the driver of the little truck decided he wanted the lane I was in. He started coming over, but I knew he could see the front end of my truck. Soon I feel a little "bump". We pull over and I nearly calmly explain "you can't just pull into a lane when it's occupied". He starts to tell me it was "his" lane, but stops mid sentence because he sees 3 clear lans marked in the spot in the road where he hit my truck. My truck received no damage other than a scuffed tire side wall. His truck however had a nice big Darlington circle into the sheet metal just behind the driver door on the cab. :D

One of the truck drivers I work with was climbing up the hill on hwy 518 to the SeaTac airport a few months ago. There is an onramp halfway up the hill. That onramp is striped as a seperate lane for a short distance before it ends, but a lot of people think the lane continues on. Anyway, this driver is chugging up the hill in an 18-wheeler, trying keep up his momentum, and a 16 year old girl merges on and stays right next to him. She "camped out" right next to the right front wheel of the rig, and when she realized her lane had disappeared, she merged right over into the wheel with those huge lug nut studs sticking out, and the whole side of her car was shredded open. The truck suffered nothing more than having a little red paint rubbed onto the wheel. The girl was cited for an unsafe lane change.
