Alrighty... . fall winter and spring anything below about 40 degrees the truck would fire right up, but miss on one cylinder. The miss would go away as the truck warmed up, the colder it was the longer it took. Now it's 90 degrees out, it starts fine, runs on all 6, but when I'm sitting at a stop light with the A/C cranked and it's in gear. (auto) Then I feel an occasional miss. It's not a completely dead hole, just not running perfect. As soon as I touch the throttle it's gone. The truck has 217,6xx miles on it, I'm wondering if one of my Injectors is starting to give me a poor spray pattern. As soon as I give it more fuel it sprays "better" and runs right. Anyone seen this before? I was thinking about going to 370's as long as I was gonna buy injectors. I have a 6 plate in it right now. To save my trans (torque converter and valve body have been upgraded to suncoast parts) I was going to slide the plate all the way back. Any advise?

Check your fuel pressure. The lift pump or overflow valve could be getting tired too.

May need to have the injectors tested. They have enough miles on them, could be getting weak.

With low fuel pressure would it run funny at higher RPM, and normal at idle? I'm sure I need an overflow valve, if I park nose up hill it doesn't start very well at all

Could still be a bad LP and/or maybe the rubber fuel lines are going bad.

The fuel pressure goes up with the increase in RPMs.

Fuel Pressure: 18-24 psi at idle, 28-36 at 2000 rpm with no load.

It can, as in dirty fuel filter, for instance. When was the last time you replaced your fuel filter?
