Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Funny noise after new head gasket

I just put a new head gasket on my 95, along with some new ddp injectors. I also put a rapid flow air filter on it at the same time. When I cranked it, it now makes a funny noise, hard to describe with words though. Kind of a lopeing noise, "whoo, whoo, whoo" type noise. I hear it best when I stick my ear up to the new intake filter. Is this just the sound of my turbo sucking air? Does anybody have the rapid flow filter? I went ahead a drove the truck, and it seems fine. I would put the factory filter box back on, but it fell off my workbench and broke.

You will have more noise with the high flow filters, at least I do. Makes some previously obscure noises more prevalent.

I figured that but it just seems pretty loud. Just remembered I also added a CFM+ intake.

I would double check your valve lash. . If that is correct I'd be comfortable writing it off as the new intake.
