When my transmission shifts from third to overdrive under medium throttle, running through the gears, I get this barking sound coming up thru the right rear floor board. It might do it once in twenty shifts, doesn't matter if the tc is locked up or not with my controller. I looked under the truck and it sounds like it's coming from where the rear transmission mounts. I have no idea what this sound is, anybody... ... ... ...

This may sound unbelievable my 97s V-10S did it ,my 01S did it ,now my 03S do it, I think these dodge"s need a wave tube install in the exhaust. All I known is it has something to do with the exhaust because all of these trucks have different combinations.

Thats the first thing that came to mind but to tell you the truth, I really don't quite understand the whole turbo bark syndrome.

TWest,I just traded my 97 V- 10 on my 04 and I had 188,000 miles on the auto tran and I can't recall it ever making that noise. I'm clueless as to what is causing this . My new ATS transmisson shifts pretty hard in the upper gears and its never done it in any gear except 3rd to 4th. I think I will call Matt at ATS on Monday and see what his thoughts are. Anybody else have any ideas?

Thanks for all the help, John
