Would those of you with a 5.9L look at your wire cable coming off the passenger battery to the grid heater solenoids and tell me what size the fusible link is? Is there one for each, or is there one that splits off to each solenoid?

I had a battery fire and this is the only cable left to install. No one local carries it, so I'll just make one.

You didn't mention the year of your truck and I am only going by memory here, but I think that the earlier common rail engines used two separate wires for the two intake manifold heaters and the later engines used one wire for both intake manifold heaters. Either way, you should be able to figure out which one you have. Each intake heater draws 100 amps. You can use a fusible link wiring chart to figure out the size you need.

Hope this helps...
