I am pondering purchasing a G-Tech just for grins and was wondering if anyone out there has any feedback on how well it performs or how accurate it is? What are your likes/dislikes about it??? Thanx

The G-tech is a nifty little rig. TDR mag did an article awhile back and compared to actual dyno runs it turned out to be pretty accurate. I never use the horsepower function, I only care about 0-60 and 1/4 mile times and how a mod has affected those results. It is also a lot of fun for seperating fact from fiction as far as those claims you get from your buddies "my chevy 5. 3 etc will go faster"

Kat,
I bought one and used last weekend for the first time. #ad

:
It showed my ETH/DEE was putting out 248hp (it is stock with only a K&N filter) so pretty close.
We did runs with two guys that had identical Rams and the numbers were almost identical.
It is also to have the ability of the elapse times. One minor point when doing the 1/4 mile time the 0-60 time flashes once so you have to pay attention to the unit. It comes with a mount you can just stick to windshield so I put it right in front of me and it was easy to see.
Bottom line, great for the price and it is very accurate #ad

I plan on using it to record the differences everytime I do a little bombing!! #ad

I think it is an OK little gizmo. #ad
The only dislike is some times it comes flying off the windshield! Also it is not easy to find a nice flat, straight piece of road where you are not annoying people while flying back and forth under full throttle.
I do not know where you are planning on purchasing it, but it is $10 cheaper at Geno's than buying direct from G-Tech.
