Valve adjustments.

Greetings, I’ve got a 2015 2500 RAM 6.7 w/G56 transmission. It’s been deleted and tuned. 5” straight stacked. 150 HP over stock and 1574 lbft torque. Just turned 100K. OEM dual mass clutch slipping when I give it some pedal. I know I need to replace the clutch and this is where I need some advice. I’ve done some research now and I’m trying to decide on a South Bend clutch or Valair clutch. I’m not racing the truck or pulling heavy loads on a regular basis. The truck is my ‘everyday driver’.
Any and all feedback is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

My recommendation would be SBC, hands down. Call them, tell them what you have and they'll tell you what you need. A solid flywheel will be a bit noisier than the DM stocker, just so you know.

I don’t remember the exact name, but I have the South Bend organic blend something or other. I highly recommend staying away from it. I’ve got around 30K miles on it and have not been happy with it since installed. Engagement sucks and has a slipping feeling at random times. I called a couple reputable shops and asked if they’ve had good or bad experiences with the organic blend clutches. They both said they stay away from them as they have not had good luck with them. My trans will be coming out in the next few weeks and sent off and a new clutch will be going in. This time it’ll be a Valair. My new trans will also be an NV5600.

Thanks for the feedback. I can deal with a little noise (I grew up on Mack trucks with twin stick 18 spd quad boxes). It’s the chattering on engagement that I don’t want to deal with.

Thanks for your feedback. Good luck with your truck and the new set up you’re going with!
