G56 Cooler???

06 3500 g56 Is there a cooler available for these trannys? Geno's says theirs only fits a nv5600. Any answer would be much appreciated.

I tried Genos too, they told me the same thing so I got in touch with Fast Coolers directly. Got the Fast Coolers and a kit for the G56 installation. www.fastcoolers.com/index.html They have contact information on the site, I just e-mailed them and they replied right away with information.



Very nice product, nice people to deal with, you can get what you need directly from them.

as the G56 is aluminum cased, it's not as much of an issue IMO. That being said, I had Olee put some fast coolers on mine anyway while he was doing some other work on my truck. I figure the exra oil capacity has to hopefully help it have a good long life, and we also put Amsoil in it. So yes you can. Would have been interesting if I could have had a before and after temp. Good Luck. Oh, my truck is 06 3500 too.
