Ok guys long story short.
Driving home last week clutch pedal went super stiff. Couldnt get out of gear so shut off truck and slammed out of gear to get stopped in a Kroger lot.
Got trans out yesterday and found that the pivot ball has somehow managed to back its way out of its mount and strip the threads on it and inside where it attaches to the bellhousing. Not sure how this happens. Trans hasnt been touched in over a year since at valair for the new dd clutch. Not saying its there fault at all!!!!!!!!! The throwout bearing and retainer are gone as well and so is the clutch fork. Clutch is all good.
Can the threading be fixed or am i looking at a new bellhousing for over a grand plus labor for someone to change them out?
