G56 replacement

Has anyone thought about or replaced their G56 with a NV5600? I want to put my twins from my sold 03 NV5600 truck on my new 06 G56 Mega cab. Since the warranty will be voided with the twins install and my TST, I want to change over to the NV5600 WHEN the G56 fails. What will I need besides flywheel, clutch, shifter, modify driveshafts and T case mount? Is the engine rear housing different? As far as I can tell, it is not. Is the clutch slave cylinder different? I know I'm not the only one that has thought about this type of replacement. Any input?

Iv'e heard that Dodge is having a hard time finding warranty replacment NV5600, and they are replacing them with the G56. That being the case, it must be a pretty simple conversion. Start shoping soon; I doubt that they will be any easier to find in the future.

Unless you're hearing something different than I have the G56 has been holding up just as well (if not better) than the NV5600 when the power is cranked up.

I was told last week that they too, are on national backorder. Which usually means" damned if we know when we will get any in"!! Look up 6 states distributors out of Utah, thats where mine came from last week.
