Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Hey guys,
For those of you with the g56. Have any of you made changes to your shift lever and knob?
I was given a Hurst pistol grip shifter with push button ( for my train horns) for my birthday I want to use but it extends my shifter lever by 5".
Has anyone cut there lever to shorten it so that the knob is lower? Is there someone that sells a modified factory shifter? I'm looking to cut about 8" of my factory shifter lever so when the Hurst knob is on its just shy of factory length.
See Pictures for my ideas. Would welding be safe to do on this, any ideas, thoughts, or suggestion are greatly welcomed.
