A hydraulic clutch does not require adjustment. Kind of like your disc brakes don't require any adjustment.

How does this work?? I have been searching for an explanation, have yet to find one.
The stock clutch master cylinder is not adjustable. The heavy duty one sold by South Bend clutch is adjustable by lengthening or shortening the clutch master cylinder push rod. Also with today's designs and everything being new when the truck was built, they build everything to the proper lengths and tolerances so no adjustments are needed for stock application. Where you can run into trouble with the "NO adjust" set up is if you replace a clutch and surface a flywheel. But with the DMF flywheel, I don't think it can be resurfaced.

The ROD adjustment DOES affect where the clutch engages from the floor. So it does essentially adjust the clutch. I know because I have that clutch master in my '07, 5.9.

Because you're adjusting the pedal height. You're not adjusting the clutch. And, I know because I've installed many of them.

You say potato....

Sorry to get my back up. Just seemed like you were saying I was wrong. The bottom line is, the correct answer to the OP is there is no adjustment to the clutch.

The clutch asy has a ratchet built into it that as the clutch disk wears it will adjust up to take up the slack until it runs out of adjustment then the clutch will slip. It's a neat system that almost works well.
