Anyone here have a g56 equipped truck with the adjustable pedals?

Just wondering if that is something that is possible and can be used with an aftermarket clutch hydraulics without changing the engagement point of the clutch.

Same stroke length as stock. It only moves the pedals closer or farther away.

Stick your head under dash and look watch it move.

That's just it. I don't have it in my truck but can get the parts from a junk donor and Install.

Just wondering what it did as far as for the manuals.

Buying a new truck sounds like a good solution!
might wait a while longer, and see what the CHINESE virus does to the world economy. might be able to find a new truck for a few hundred bucks, at zero percent , and or trade for some toilet paper... cheers! :0

Lol truck I'm looking at is now down 5k from last week. Gonna go see them and see if I can get it lower plus tax and title since it's been in the lot 6 months now.

Yes, you can source the parts from the 1500's to put adjustable pedals in pretty much any truck. You may to rig the control yourself but the moving pieces and the cables are available. APPS is but different for adjustable s also so you will need a new one of those. Very few diesels had the adjustable pedals, many more 1500 Laramie's had them than anything.

Ok so that helps alot. Looks like different style mounting for the hydro cylinder when you have the adjustable pedals so that the pedal moves without adjusting the clutch engagement.

Bingo. It's an add on adjuster to a completely different pedal system. And yes, to use stock hydro's you'll need on of those plastic spider keepers. The std pedal pin has a spear point end that locks it in place. It's the same plastic keeper that Dodge, Chevy and Ford uses on almost all recent systems.

That guy didn't do to bad on getting good under dash camera shots.

Yeah I've actually watched that video before and never even thought thats what it was.

I am actually going to look at a 2006 5.9l that pretty well built (800hp) that is a Laramie Mega SRW 3500. Has all the options i want and only 156k miles on it. and an auto for the wife lol.

Its not that the wife can't drive my truck, its just that with her height if she stalls she has to turn at a funny angle to get the clutch far enough to engage the safety switch and with her pinch nerve in that leg I dont want it to do more damage an honestly I am over driving a Stick all the time lol. It was fun for the last 8 years but time to move on.

I have them with aftermarket slave hydraulics
At about 2:30 in this video you'll get a glimpse of the adjustable pedal on a 5.9L

I have the G-56 w/adjustable pedals. It is handy when my wife drives every five years. Once adjusted mine don't move. It was a ridiculously cheap option when I ordered. I'd gladly trade it for a telescoping steering wheel.
