Gages and Wiring question ........

Mounted my gages tonight, but I have a couple of questions before finishing the job.



First, I have already done a few mods, like the AFE drop in, silencer ring, exhaust, yadda yadda ... ..... has anybody gaged their truck before mods? What kind of boost/EGT numbers are to be expected from a complete stock truck?



Second, where are you guys tapping into the lighting to get the gages to act just like the factory gages ... ... dimming and such?



My '99 had a fuse panel on the left side of the dash, my '03 doesn't.

Pull the panel, with the roller switch for the lights and tap into the orange/white tracer wire for the dimmer. Larry
