What do you guys reccomend for floor paint??

The floor will be new, so there won't be any oil stains to contend with. I'm looking at about 750 sq. ft, and would like to keep the cost under $350. Also, any tips I need to know before doing this? It will be a few months before it's done, but I want to have the floor done before I start moving in.

When I posted this (and then did the research) Pittsburg paint was the winner.

As far as waiting 30 days, I poored my downstaires floor Christmas Eve, Its still Green even to look at it. Its starting to get white around the edges but the center is still dark. When it does dry its going to be real hard.

This could be because I have plastic under it, and the garage is closed up and heated to only 45 (its at 76% humid ). Once spring gets here and the garage warms up, Iwill start to run the dehumidifier and dry everything out. I could do it now, but it cost more to heat the garage then the house if I turn the heat up all the time!@

Matt, just hurry up and get it done so we can throw a bombin' party at your place and do some test drips on that floor. :D

:D :D :D

We had our first pre-construction meeting this morning, the lady couldn't understand why I needed more room than what would just barely fit my truck inside:rolleyes: .

I intend to make my garage a, "safe haven" for any diesel heads afflicted with the bombing bug. Hopefully, I'll be all set to tackle most of the usual bombs. If we have a nice, hot summer, I'll be able to get the really cool stuff ( I have a line on a milling machine for $600) and start making our own creations:D :D .

We won't be moving in until August most likely, but of course, I can't be prepared enough for the garage.

Thanks for the tips on the paint, guys!! I have a little while to make up my mind yet, but at least it's something fun to pick out instead of sinks and cabinets:eek: .
