Competition Leaving the line with how much boost?

Competition Got to see the most powerful DIESEL pickups pull tonight!

Had a great time at the Gardnerville NV pull yesterday, the final results aren't all up yet but there is nice high quality video (follow the link) I changed a few things, most noticably the tires, and tweaked the waste gate as we were at over 4,000 feet, and it worked out good as I pulled it out the gate. I am in luv with clutch :D The diesels had good showing.

Video and Pic's here

BBD

Scott So you did take the boggers off? What tires did you run?

Congrats to the winners,I am so made that I didnt go it sounds like a missed a good one...

Great pull, BBD. Your truck isn't stock, is it? :-laf Your comment about the wastegate made me wonder... and it's probably obvious... if you leave your boost elbow the same at 5000' and sealevel, will you have more boost at sealevel? I noticed that I buried the boost gauge at lower levels, but can't do it up here in the Sierras. Just wondering, and again, great pull!

Correct you are, you will have more at sea level if you left it the same. It's harder to get boost in that thinner air at 5000'

Thanks,

BBD

I was in attendance at the Gardnerville pull and the BIG BAD DODGE out pull everyone by so much they should have bowed down to him and kissed his feet. YOU HAVE THE BADDEST TRUCK I HAVE EVER SEEN! :) Oo. :D  :-laf ;) :--) :p  What is the next pull you are going to? I need to see it again and again and again. That was just an awesome display of power! You made me very proud to see a Dodge spank them all. Keep it up Scott.

Thanks Raminspeed, Tule Lake, CA 10th of Sept.

Jim you won't believe this, I had to get out of it because there was a picnic table under that tree you see in the video with like six people sitting at it. they all got up and ran :D when I came back out of the arena like thirty minutes later some guy comes up to me and tells me I hurt his wife. I said what are you talkin about, he said she tore her leg up trying to get out of the picnic. I look over and she is sitting there with a big bag of ice propped up on here knee. I said next time maybe you wont sit at the picnic table at the end of sled pulling track genius :-laf

It's always cool when the camera man has to turn all the way around to keep the truck in the picture! :D Specially since most everybody else stayed in the pic with out moving much. :-laf

Very nice pull Scott.

You're only going to be able to afford a 1/2 pull in Tulelake. They had $2. 50 fuel 3 years ago before it was fashionable. :-laf
