WANTED:
In search of a Garrett ball bearing turbo kit, or just the used GT3782r its self, or one that may need a rebuild. I know Garrett for some reason stopped making these and only produced them for a few years. If anyone has one they are thinking about selling for whatever reason or knows where they may be a few leftover new kits around as I have searched everywhere, please email me at -- email address removed --. name is Shane. I'm new to this forum but have been on a few others for quite a while. Thank and I hope to hear back from someone.

Sweet turbos! ^^^
I found a stage2 on CF classifieds after looking about a year, It is an early release so the exh elbow
is different. Fine unless you want a exh brake that fits in this location.
Turbo Re-Source in AZ[?] had a part i needed, I would contact them as they have been a dealer.

The stage1 is not much more then stock, it can be moded to a stage2 though.

I contacted Tom at Turbo Resource and he told me he can no longer get them, or parts for that matter other than compressor and turbine wheels, as most of them have all disappeared. He can get the center cartridge and he can turn a stage 1 into a stage 2. So at the current moment he told me to keep my eyes open if someone is upgrading and selling their stage 1 or 2, or if one needed to be rebuilt. I'm not interested in any other turbo, so if you know anyone, or if anyone on this forum knows anyone selling one whether it needs a rebuild or not, I'll be interested. It just has to be a stage 1 or 2.

Did Turbo Resource mention an option of they were making a BB Garrett from different model number current production parts? They were for the 3rd gens when I called last year anyway. Nothing wrong with a stage 3 in your search, then again, I have a cam so Stage 3 works well on mine.

Yeah I'm not planning on running a cam so I don't want a stage 3. If i want more air i would put compounds on my truck. Probably a GT4202r under the GT3782r. Tom at Turbo Resource said the parts are not available anymore to make a stage 1 or 2 for 2nd or 3rd gen trucks because Garrett discontinued production of parts. Very stupid decision on their part. They are great turbos.
