OK, enough grousing. I'm going to mount my gauges on the A-piller. I'm planning on useing the Westach EGT/boost combo and Westach transmission temp gauges, Probably from Geno's. Who makes a fuel pressure gauge that will match up w/ the black bezel of the Westach gauges? Has anyone found Westach gauges for a better price than Geno's?

Rust, it never sleeps. I have a Reading Ind. contractors top on my truck. It has held up very well on the three previous trucks that it was on. It's 7 yr old. However, when I painted it white to match the new '01, In some of the seams and joints, rust is starting to show. I have heard that there is a product that will neutralize rust, so you can touch up the affected area. It would have to be of low viscosity so it could flow into the joints. Anyone know about this product? TIA

Like spending $$$ to make trucks more powerful, It takes $$ to make bikes lighter. Titanium isn't cheap.

Rustoleum makes the claim about stopping minor rust. Make sure you buy the one that actually says "rust stopper" not just "rust preventer". They make several varieties. They're the only ones I know about to claim actual rust stopping.

There's another paint called Hammermill ( I think the name is correct, it is Hammer-something) that I have used many times on farm equipment that is severely rusted. As long as you get the loose stuff off it will stop rust. I pick it up at an Ace hardware store.

TMACC... . I'm using the Westach EGT/boost gauge with 2 thermocouples, pre and post turbo and using Westach 2 position EGT switch. I like their switch much better than a Radio Shack,no brain hook-up which I needed. Got it all from Geno's, better price than from Westach direct. I have on order from Westach(Geno's doesn't handle)a special order fuel pressure gauge,0-25 p. s. i. It matches the other gauge and has a low press. light that can be set where you want. Give the folks there a call, 1-800-400-7024,they can make any guage you need... ... Howard

Take a look at POR15, you can find it with a web search. Eastwood sells a product called Correless (sp) or something similar. Lots of people in the resto groups swear by the products. Just be careful when you go to the bathroom.

Hammerite. People seem to swear by the stuff.

I recently painted my new front hitch in the Rustoleum Hammered Finish stuff. Don't know about longevity yet, but it looks real good.

As usual, you guys have given me enough info to figure out what I need to do. Thanks.
I do have an additional question for Granpappy. I thought our pumps only pumped 16 PSI max. I'm talking 24V now, before you undervalved guys jump in. Why did you feel the need for a 0-25 psi gauge? Just curious.
Thanks again.
