Where are you guys routing the EGT/Boost and Brakesmart lines through the firewall. I have the 6 speed, so the clutch hole is out. I think klenger mentioned in his brakesmart install that he used the gromet outboard of the steering shaft. I looked at that this morning and it is directly in line with the clutch pedal. It seems as if it might hit when fully depressing the pedal.

Thanks for any input

John

For your truck how about using the grommet where the auto trans shift cable would have gone?

Its just below the clutch pedal.

Are you talking gauges in general or is BrakeSmart now selling their EGT/Boost module they have been working on?

I'm sorry, should have clarified. I have Dipricol gagues coming. As of last week the Boost/EGT module for the brakesmart were not available. I dont really want to wait, and prefer not to look down to see them anyway.

Thanks for the reply, I think that is the gromet that seems like it may get hit with the clutch. The wires would have to bend 90 degrees quickly to avoid hitting. I will check it out though.

While I have an auto I did use that spot for a friends 6 speed gauges that I did. With the BrakeSmart I believe you tap a sensor in the brake line and only electrical goes in the cab.

here is a pic
