Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Mine is the same way, the 8 is slightly darker, knid of anoying, but its still the best looking gauge I think. Did you hook up the bulb and also the led light wires? If not the upper part of the gauge would be really dark. The bulb lights the bottom and led's light the upper part of the gauge. I don't think you can rotate the housing because of the internals would interfere with the bulb.
