Gauge Install - dimmer/backlight

Has anyone done a gauge install on a 2011 yet and found a circuit to tap for the dimmer/backlight?

Well I got the backlight on my Isspro EV2 gauges hooked up. Not the way that I would have preferred which was to hook it to the OEM dimmer circuit but the dash backlights are now LED running on 5V. What I did was to tap into the cab clearance light circuit for a switched 12V supply. Then ran it through a 50K pot so I could adjust the Isspro backlights and then onto the gauges. Since I don't adjust the dashlights that often this has worked out nice.

I have my Isspros run through the dash dimmer on my '07 but have never found a need to dim them. Genos gave me instructions w/photos when I bought mine.

Where to mount

i have been wanting EV2 gauges as well but have not been able to find a gauge mount yet. Guess I will just have to wait till somebody comes out with one.

Geno's has a tripple A-piller which is what I used, you just need to get a shorter bolt or cut the one that comes with it.

dash mount

I am waiting for the dash mount to come out. i like that one better.
