I am continuing the installation of my SPA gauges in my 2001. 5 2500. I have put in the boost and EGT sensors. Now I need to do the transmission temp and Fuel pressure.

1) I bought the crossover line from DTT. How do I find the proper crossover line to replace with the DTT line. Is there any trick to the install or just replace the line, screw in the sensor, and check the fluid.

2) For the Fuel Pressure, I purchased the new FP line from Geno's. Has anyone installed with this? Where is the Schrader valve (I am obviously new to this). Can I just screw in my pressure sensor or do I need to adapt anything? Where (and how) should I mount the sensor on the end of the line.

Thanks for all the help. I couldn'd do it without you all.

Standing on the side of your truck, look over the battery and at the VP 44. There are two banjo bolts. The one on the right has the schrader valve on it. It angles slightly down (not parallel with the ground). Not having worked with S. P. A. gauges or automaitcs, I can't help you anymore than that.

Finding the line is rlatively easy after you get under the truck. The end that has the approx 135 degre bend will go on the drvivers side of the trans and the straight section goes to the cooler. My part was an actual Mopar part that also included a short straight rubber section that connected to the cooler. Also depending on the year truck you have the drain back valve will have to be removed, if it hasn't been already.

The schrader valve may have a cap on it (looks like a tire air valve). Be careful not to over tighten the Schrader end of the hose or you might wind up with a core-less schrader and an expensive "grease gun hose" :D :D

Good Luck!
