does anybody make a 3 or 4 gauge a pillar mount for are trucks i have looked around and cant seem to find anything . how are the rest of you guys mounting multiple gauges ? i want to be able to have a boost, pyro, trans temp/ rear axle temp and i would like to have them all mounted in one place

I know they're high, but man are those sooo nice; especially compared to the aftermarket ones for our trucks. I cannot understand why the aftermarket ones are pointed in line with the pillar, and not at the driver#@$%!:-{} I'm looking forward to trying one of these out, got my order in. Hopefully there is enough interest that he makes quite a few of these.

I am currently installing three on the pillar of my 1990 LE It can be a little tough, but three will fit. I use the Autometer pillar mounts. I don't know about reading the pillar mounts from autometer. They are positioned perfectly for view. I have seen one pillar mount that was terrible. The faces pointed up to the roof. The autometer mounts are perefect.

Keep in mind that with only two pillar guages, the wires back in there are many. That fellow who made the five (or was it six ?) gauge pillar mount will have a time with the wires. Anyone ever seen the back of a ISSPRO pyro gauge or Temp guage? There is a BIG bundle there just for one gauge. Fitting all that back in there at the pillar... ... ... . that should be fun for five or six gauges. LOL

I actually liked the dash pod on my '92 a little better than the A-pillar mount I have now in my 2000.

do you have a picture of you dash mount pod. i realy think i am going with the four gauge pod from above that thing looks sweet but it never hurts to see the other options and ideas

On my 84 crew cab (V8 powered) I mounted the gauges this way:

When the diesel goes in it will have an Autometer dual pillar pod and I was able to find a triple mount for the dash ( no longer available  ) that goes where the dash curves downward at the center. A 3 3/8 tach will mount on the dash as well. Because the 92 steering column is different I can't mount it like before. I must admit I am not really a fan of having them on top of the dash, but I will be able to see them while driving. They were some good post a few years back with pics of gauges mounted in the dash where the warning lights are and where the cargo light button goes. Shadrach

I am not a fan of pillar mounted gages either. My son has them and I don't find them within my comfortable field of view.

I much prefer dash or column mounted gages.

The autometer three gauge dash mount for the first gen truck is no longer available ??? !!! ??? The one that is molded for the curve in the top of the dash?????

That's the one I had in my '92. Unfortunately I can't find any interior pics of my old truck. It certainly was a nice gauge mount though.
