Where can I get a good dual gauge pod, that covers 1/2 of the a-pillar. I have a tweeter there and I don't want to grind it or cut it as some recommend. Also, when installing this pod, are most of you guys drilling access holes through the factory pillar cover to snake the wire's down into dash, etc. If so any tips on the install? I'll be putting in Autometer 2 1/16 EGT & boost gauges there.
The autometer EGT thermocouple #5244 is a 90 degree probe. Which direction are you guys pointing the end of the probe; into exhaust flow(upstream) or away from it (downstream)? The end of the probe looks somewhat delicate. Thanks.

I have the 2gauge pod from TST. I took it off and put in a 3 gauge. I had the two gauge mounted just above the tweeter. It is painted
agate. . It is 4 sale. . email if interested

Oops. Found my instructions on the T-couple, so no answer needed on that. Still need pod reply's though. Thanks.

I used a two gauge full pillar w/tweeter by autometer which is meant to go over the original with much hacking. I bought mine from Geno's, and installed it by it's self using one screw just above the upper gauge. That's the only hole to be drilled, all the wires, etc. run up the space just above the fuse panel. Do a search and you will find serveral posts how to's. Have fun!

Lordy, I got my guages and 2-pod from www.dieselpage.com (good people) I drilled a 3/4 hole for the wires to pass through the stocker. I put the hole right where the boost guage goes to give the plastic line a straight run to the guage. I didn't remove the stock pillar, just drilled the hole. I pulled the fuse box cover(on the side of the dash), took a plastic coated coathanger and went up through the fuse box, up the pillar and out the hole. You can then pull the tubing and pyro lead back down through the pillar and route them under the dash. I secured the 2-pod with some black screws with finishing washers. I taped the pyro lead and tubing together behind the pod and don't have a noisy boost guage as some others have.

Good luck, take it slow and enjoy!
