I'm Looking to get some gauges and a pod of some sort rounded up before my truck arrives.

What is the highest boost a 600 will make stock? What range gauge is everyone running?

What is the lowest profile cleanest looking pod. I Probably will want to go with a 2 place at first for EGT and boost.

Thanks

for the 600's, you'll need a 50# or 60# gauge for boost [makes like 35psi stock] and for the pyro, a 0-1500° or 0-1600° range is acceptable [you'll be seeing +1200° stock peak temps]

for mounting, you can go a few different ways. for single gauge mounting, you can order a factory replacment a-piller from dodge [or others] that is used in the srt-10 truck. for more gauges than 1 on the a-pillar, the grab handle needs to go... you can get the steering collum mount that holds 2 gauges. you can also get 3 gauge mounts that go in the cubby hole in the dash [but no good if you have heated seats or electric shift 4x4] then there is a dash mount gauge pod that holds 3 gauges...

most of the a-pillar [2-3 gauge] pods are made by propods

the cubby mount and dash mount are autometer, as is the collum mount [quad makes a cubby mount too, but it is a flat plate, not angled like the AM]

You can do what I did and put one on the pillar and one on the column. (pics in readers rig gallery). If you need three, (auto or manual?) you may have to do what nick says.

Go to www.wildcatdiesel.com and check out the RodsPod. I'm not sure if it will fit a 2005 (it states '98-2002). I would suggest you call them (306-862-0767) and ask. I love mine - it places the gauges in a perfect position to see them without looking too far away from the road - yet they're not in your way at all. Another nice feature - a pretty simple installation!

Ok This is bad... I've purchase a couple hundred dollars worth of accessories for a truck I dont own yet. You guys are a horrible influence... :)

I purchased the SRT-10 A pillar cover, and will probably go boost gauge shopping soon. I think the Autometer mount for on top of the steering column might be a good place for a pyro gauge. I'll wait till the truck actually gets here to size that project up.

So far I have gotten the Mopar mudflaps, wheel well liners, SRT gauge pod, and I have also purchased a set of weatherboots. (http://www.foxweatherboots.com/)

I have been very pleased with these in my 02.

The wait continues.....

What about westach's?

They have a combined boost/pyro guage that could be placed in your single pod. Then you wouldnt have any extra pods sticking out anywhere. I know Geno's has them.

Just an thought...
