Well, just got my new gauges from Big Don. I got a 4 gauge dash pod and the ISSPRO boost and pyro. I hope to have them in next week. I'm going to add a Autometer water temp and oil pressure along with an Autometer tach mounted on the steering column.

Can someone tell me approximately what kind of readings I'll get from these? I got the color coded pyro so I won't have to read it to know what's going on with that and from what I've read here, as long as it stays under 1000 deg everything is OK, correct?. What about boost (stock everything) oil pressure and water temp? Heh, Big boys toys..... HeHe... . #ad


Next will come that 16cm2 housing so I can see if I can make this clutch I bought from Standard slip! TIA... ... ... ... ... Racer

PS... Pulled a 24foot off shore boat to Cape Hatteras last week. Transmission did fine, knock on wood! Fishing sucked. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work anytime though.

Cool for you Racer!

I put my gauges in when I did my 16cm^2 housing change, here is what I get daily.

Egt: idle 200-250/ foot out of it 400-600/ going for broke loaded 900-1025

Boost: fourth gear hard pull 15PSI/ 10PSI most of the time

Apples to apples: your truck has straight exhaust, cooler egts for you, and until you change your housing you'll have lower boost readings provided that you have not tinkered with the fuel pump #ad
