Put the gauges in the cubby hole and I have a couple of questions------The EGT gauge which they are all Dipricol seems like it doesnt go to zero-----goes to 100* when it is cold is the gauge bad or need recalibrated? And the transmission temp seems like it takes a long time to warm up-------I have it in the middle test port on passenger side and I never did get above 110* today----but it was only 53* as a high---------I'm just wondering if the middle test port is the one to use.

Thanks

Guages going to zero !

I think that your temperature guagee is reading the ambieant temp. and it will never go to zero. I am going by the last truck my guages are going in after my week @ work. I also need to know about the trans temp and the correct port.

The pyro will probably never go to 0. One reason is because it will read ambient temp and the second is because they seem to become less accurate toward the ends of the scale. You're sounds fine. I can't help you with the other, I drive a handshaker.

My gauges are Autometer but my EGT points to 6 o clock when shut off, called thier tech line and they said it is normal, it does go to zero once it has power. My trans also takes a long time to reach 150 especially if I get right on the highway, around town it reaches 150 in about 30 minutes. I know it is working ok because when I tow it heats up to 170 in about 10 minutes.
