Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Gauges Not working

Hey all,



I just bought a 1999 CTD. I noticed that the voltmeter and the temperature gauges aren't working. The Check Gauges light comes on the dash. Is there something that I can do to remedy this problem?



I also have the air bag light coming on.



I realize these problems can be read by using a code reader. Which one do you recommend?
